Far better than cutting coils off and if done properly won't sag any more/quicker than the springs would have when standard.
I've never heard of having springs reset. How does that work? Is that like the kit RB used to sell that raises the strut mount up 1"?

The springs are heated up and either compressed or stretched.

I went with Tokico Illuminas and B&G Springs (1.4" drop) If I really wanted to, I can cut 1/2 to 1 coil to go lower if need be, but nearly 1.5" is fine with me. If we can get someone to make the old RB front kit, no need to do any more...

BTW...shox.com has illuminas for under 400 a set of 4!

Now I gotta install the FC oil cooler and get a real oil pressure gauge installed as the stocker is ******* up and getting me worried.

Mel, you take all the fun out of brainstorming for different ideas on modding. Granted, being an old white fart, I'd look quite out of place bouncing up and down with the suspension, but I've been tossing a good many different/potential ideas as to what could be done to the REPU.

No, I'm not fond of the bagging idea, nor am I seriously considering it. I do however want it to be as fast, preferably faster, than the widebody with the 1/2 bp and handle/brake as well as it will when I finish the TII brake upgrade.

The hp/performance is not a problem, I can reach that goal. The handling and braking is another matter/challenge all together. One idea I want to play with is seeing if installing a TII irs is feasible since the REPU has fully boxed frame rails. If that's a viable option, then I will need to figure out how to replace the double wishbone front suspension with the TII MacPhearson struts and rack & pinion steering steering. If I can accomplish that, and that's a big if, then the only thing keeping the REPU from handling as well as the widebody will be the higher center of gravity.

If the suspension and brakes mods are doable, then the truck will need a 300+ hp turbo engine to complete the package, along with either the Epsilons or the SSRs for wheels.

Sorry for the thread jack, again.
