Lower Poly Control Arm Bushings

I'm looking for lower control arm bushings in poly, read only the lower and not the top. Anyone have half a set that they would be willing to to sell the other half off?

I spose this should be in the for sale section but i never check there.

I have a set at home that I didn't install - they are the red poly bushing set for the lower control arms (inner joint), and are new-in-wrap. Yours for $20 shipped.

Reach me at longduckNOSPAM@mindspring.com (remove the NOSPAM to reach me).

I ordered these from Mazdatrix with the rest of my stuff for rebuilding the front end, including new Factory lower control arms. Once they all arrived, I decided that ruining a brand-new and perfectly good set of Factory arms was a waste of my time and money, so I set the poly bushings aside for some future project (as yet unnamed). I did install the poly Tension Rod bushings, however, and already had poly stabilizer bar bushings and Tokico Blues - the car rides rock solid in the front end on smooth pavement, and is just like a new car.

Let me know on the parts,

So your not advising me to use poly on the lowers? From what i've read most are using poly on the lower and stock rubber on the upper and watts. Am i right?

On the front control arms would you suggest not using poly also?

Oops, maybe my mistake in understanding, but I thought we were talking about front suspension, not rear.

In your revised post, you're talking about rear suspension, and I think that most are agreed that the stock Factory Mazda rubber bushings are more compliant (when new) than poly bushings and will give better overall cornering performance than trying to upgrade to harder bushings.

As the rubber bushings in the rear suspension get older, they get harder. So, if you're experiencing rear end slide out and notice that your bushings are very stiff rubber, it may be worth the effort to get some new, soft, rubber bushings in there, which unfortunately requires purchase of the entire control arm. The Watts Link can probably benefit from new rubber as well, but I think the jury's still out on whether poly bushings are useful here to locate the lateral movement of the rear axle.

My car has all stock Mazda Factory control arms with (old) rubber bushings. The bushings that I reference are front lower control arm bushings, the inside joint. Not rears, sorry for any confusion. HTH,
