loud klang during slow starts

I get this loud kinda klang or ping from the passenger side rear wheel on slow starts or right hand turns.

Whats causing this? My first idea was it could be the rear axle.

thanks Matt

it could be your u-joints on ur driveshaft are worn. if you have the original driveshaft you will need to get a new one. either that or the back-lash on the rear end is out of spec

Agreed, the stock driveshaft apparently does not have replacable Ujoints, so that may mean you need to purchase a new drive shaft... Put the rear axle of the car in the air with jackstands, and twist the driveshaft with your hand and you should be able to feel if there is too much twist to it...
