Loosing power after ....

i loose power when i floor it off 1st. then it chirps into 2nd then goes to about 4600 rpm then looses power and doesnt wanna move from there to 6000 rpm, its not that bad of a power lose, but its annoying. could it be a fuel cut off issue? or the fact that my carb needs re-calibrating? shoot me some ideas guys thanks

First thing's first- check (replace the fuel filter). That's usually the culprit. Let me know your results.

No problem. I had the same thing happen when I took it out of storage last spring. After the initial panic of all the possible what ifs, I replaced the fuel filter and voila-massive power gains and no hesitation!
