Im looking for my old 1979 rx7 traded It for a sentra I would like to get it back . It's had recently Been re painted(silver) by the guy who I traded. The interior is a wine red color but the guy replaced the seats for some sand colored seats. It has two steel braided lines up front and it does not have the original distributor it has the newer kiND that is electric from an 80's first gen. It also has 83 front struts with brakes. The Vin number is # Sa22c5382500 $$$50 dollar finder fee!!!! 847 521 8495 I appreciate the help guys I really miss it thanks

good luck finding it,I know what you're going through I wish I still had my first rx7,but unfortunately mine caught on fire

 

My 80 was lost to Chicago. I've looked for it. Title is still in the name of who I sold it to, but he lost it to an impound yard, so it probably got crushed. Hope you have better luck than I did. If you do turn up a sunrise red 80 with GSLSE suspension swap, RE dual downdraft carbs, and glassed bumpers (rubstrips removed...); let me know.

Man, if I could get my old '79 back I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I should never have sold it as it's unlikely that I'll ever get that dual RE weber kit again.

 

Well guys I couldn't find her again so I had to "settle" for this

 

I like that gold color, wish mine was gold or silver. It's red.

I'm sad to say that I found it after I picked up the gslse but they guy wants 3500!!!!

 

Suck it up and do what you have to do to get her back. You'll regret it if you don't. Trust me, i know first hand.
