Looking for air dams for 79'
I have found a few air dams for my 79 RX7, but I tend to like the ones for the 81 thru 85 better. Is it possible to put one of these on a 79? Can I use a later model bumper? What is the difference between the 79 and the 81 ons. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

I'm gonna be putting on some bumpers from an GSL SE... Not sure how easy this is gonna be? I'm guessing that i'm gonna have to cut up the plastic and force them to fit. Then either screw or rivit the bumpers on. Haven't got round to this yet... I should take some pics when I do though.
Just got the engine pulled out and cleaned up. Also cleaned the bay out... Need to do the suspension. lots to do.... At least my engine is good.

after I got into an accident I put an 83 Front end onto my 79 and also mounted a Mariah Motorsport Air Dam.
All you have to do is get two front fenders, front bumper cover, the bumper, and the bumper shocks. should cost you around 150 at a yard and it will all bolt up to the 79 frame. I recommend you get the wheel wells too because the 79 ones are not as wide.
