Looking at a 84 GSL-SE tommaro Help please

Hey guys, I have owned a few 1st gens and several 2nd gens in my days...and am really wanting to get back into a RX-7 soon.
I am going to be checking out a 1984 GSL-SE on Sunday, while I have drove one in the past, I don't know too much about them other then being the fuel injected 13B...and having the 14" rims/tires...
Is that a stock posi rear end on them?
Do they have much power potential? (On a budget)?
What could a header, intake & exhaust do HP wise?
Any imput is great thanks.

GET IT!!!!! they are a huge upgrade from the other first gens that you have owned. with an exhaust, you can get quite a bit of power out of them. and yes, they do have the LSD rear end (posi is a name gm used if i am correct?). they also have bigger brakes, better wheel pattern, are fuel injected, and have the good ol' 13B in them. they are a hot comodity these days.

Thanks much Jeff,
After checking the map, I see the seller of the GSL-SE is almost 3 hours away. I think I am going to check out Rotorheads 82 GSL here in Indy first now.

Thanks for the heads up Wam, but NC is a little too far from Indy...
