Looking at a 83 gsl

Well i have a 83 gsl. I found a 83 Gsl in the paper and i know the guy. The body isnt in that great of shape. Hes got alot done to it, roll cage, holley carb and intake, msd..ect. I was thinking about buying it and takn all the parts off of it and putting it on my car. I was just wondering what you would pay for a 83 with alot of mods but not in that great of shape body wise. I think he has like 130k miles on it. Hes only asking 1k.
