It's back!

My manifold from Turblown is in, the motor is back in, and I'm double-checking everything before getting that driveshaft ordered...

After talking to Mazdatrix, I wasn't able to straight-up get an SE shaft with a TII yoke. After several careful measurements, I reported 41 7/8". I got the shaft a week later and it fit without any drama.

I'm making new oil feed/return lines since the new manifold places the turbo a bit further away from the engine than the previous mock-up manifold.

I'm also waiting on a few parts to arrive...
  • Clutch master cylinder
  • Stainless clutch line
  • Rear brake hose (chassis)

I'm currently trying to source the rear axle hardline Y/T block, but I may just end up using an off the shelf part since apparently they are no longer available.

I've been following this for a while. I am glad to see it's almost there.

Have you checked junk yards for the brake part, or make a WTB thread in the classifieds?

Elwood had a spare one and just decided to mail it to me

I discovered I may have tossed the bracket used to connect the clutch master hardline to the slave...UGH. I'm searching through pics of engine bays and comparing it to my parts bin to see if it may be in there somewhere.

This is what happens when you take too long to finish something...you forget everything.

I wish I could take credit! It's Turblown's work.
