location of fuel pump

sorry for wastin your time like this, but im in a rush and i cant find my haynes manual.

i was just wondering if the fuel pump in my 84 gs is in the tank or if it's an inline one, and if so where is it located?

It's up under the right side ahead of the tank if I remember correctly.

^that's cool. It's been a while since I had a 1st gen and didn't know the manuals were online.

I wonder if this will turn into another one of those '84-'85 fuel pump weirdness threads. By the way, it's inline. Only the GSL-SE had an intake pump in the 1st gens.
