LM-1 mounting location suggestions?

I'm wondering who here has installed a innovate motorsports LM-1 in their first gen and how you mounted it. I kinda wish there was a mount that you could buy to locate it in a similar location to where the power FC brackets mounts the commander in an FD.

Similar to this:

It would be nice if I could some how find a braket that could be drilled into the pass side of the center section of the dash. I know there is the option of the winodw mounting bracket that innovate offers, but there isn't really a great place to put that in my car.

Suggestions are appreciated

If you cant find one, make one. Shouldn't be hard with some aluminum sheet and a body hammer. Try flush mounting it into the console lid. I've seen that before and it looked slick.

Dan the one way i've though about this is if you get a piece of sheet metal, and you would want to bolt it from somewhere under the carpet piece that runs up behind the center console (its that triangulater piece behind the radio area) on the driver side cut it in the desired shape to and have it bend there the edge meets at a 45 degree angle or so for your best visibility.

IIRC you have 7 guages hooked up in the centerconsole so you can't do anything else in there.

But for a super clean install, unsure how comfortable you'd feel doing something like this it would mean opening up the LM-1 unit and basically what you would want to do is mount the 2 buttons and the screen inside the ashtray or something. It would be a pretty hard road to go down, but for ultimate clean look might be your best bet. Also this might void any warranties of the devices.

Yea I looked at some PDA holders that might work. Check the auto accessories sites in Scar&Driver etc. Mine just lays in the hole where the console was lol. And the Aux box is in the center console but I plan on moving it.
