Hey there everyone, just wanted to share with all of ya how much fun I am having with the rex's in the garage. Just got some new parts in from Mazdatrix and waiting for more from racing beat. Making some new custom kick panels tonight yet. Found some new red vinyl at walmart ( of all places ) that is the same color as the original red interior. Using masonite as the new backing. Old ones were shot from replacing speakers too many times. New sound system as well, 8" subs and 6 channel amp. Made a custom panell that fits over the storage bins in back with the subs and amp mounted on it. Each bin houses a sub and it sounds great. New door pulls, steering column cover, shifter plate and boot, dome lens,rebuilt SE tranny, LSD rear end, seats from the SE, gauge faces, hatch struts...too much to list. The interior I am redoing myself with new vinyl. Grey and red. Once I figure out how to load up pics I will get some on the forum. Car will be ready to drive out of the garage by April 1st right to the paint shop, then on to the shows. Had to share, you understand why if you are a true rex lover like myself.

 

I fell asleep under my car once.

i wish my car was in the garage now. it's stuck way out in the shed for the winter

Asleep under the car....nice. I got a better one though ( not to one up ya ) . Girlfriend kept herself busy with me while I was under the car. At least the top half of me. Gotta love that, head with the head under the rex. Dreamy!!
