So finally after being towed from Colorado, stored outside for 6 months, being stolen and returned my 1981 GSL is finally running! I finally got some money and got a new carb for it as well as replaced the broken window, combo switch and key switch... but alas my question is about wheels. I upgraded from the stock wheels to a sweet set of Epsilon 15x7 and 15x8 for the rear. The problem im running into is that when i hit bumps the outside of my wheel wells come down on the wheels and rub a little, is that my suspension? or the wheels. I have eibach lowering springs that should stiffen the ride alittle but also lower the car... advice?

 

Dpends on the offset of the wheels and the tire size you are running. Do a search with terms Wheel offset, and a seperate search with tire size, there are tons of threads about both subjects.
