It lives!

Couldn't wait.
We went out under the cover of darkness fearing the local VFD would show up during the day. After reconnecting the ignition we tried to turn her over. Less than 10 seconds of cranking and she zoomed to life. Yippee! Not only did she turn over but idled smooth and steady. Give her a little gas and that long awaited sound filled my front yard. I can't believe after 7 years of sitting it was that simple. I can't believe I waited this long, I sure thought it would be tougher and didn't even really dare to hope she might actually run. Now we'll see after burning off all the goop last night if she burns relatively clean today. I'm ordering tires and brake parts today, could have her on the road in a week or so.

Thanks for all you help and advise,
Ilesha
