Question A little help?

Okay so I just put my S5 13BT back together today. I am using a GSL SE oil pan and fron cover and have 2 questions. First, do I use the S5 dip stick or the GSL-SE dipstick? Second question is about the oil drain line for the turbo. Where is the best place to tap a hole for the drain? I found a spot on the front cover that looks like I could make it work but I am curious as to what others have done. Any help is apprectiated, Thanks in advance.

Se dipstick and front cover is where you tap it for the line.

I beg to differ, wouldn't you use the 13bt dipstick?

Generally, it's going to be the oil pan on the engine that is the deciding factor in which dipstick to use, so I'd have to agree with rx7doctor that it would be the SE dipstick since it's got the SE oil pan.

84stock may be correct.

The determining factor is the center iron on the engine. Whether the height of the boss where the dip stick seats on the S5 TII iron is taller than the SE center iron.

I'm sure someone will chime in to give the absolute here. :-)

anyone with a solid answer? I have the T2 dipstick but if I need to use the 85 dipstick then I have to start searching for one, so I need to figure this out asap. Thanks for the info so far guys.
