A little AC help, please!

Well, got hose replace (had a hole), and filled it with r-134. Blows cold, all ok except idle drops to about 450. Isn't there a valve or solenoid somewhere that's supposed to kick up your idle when the AC is on? Can't find it in my haynes. It's an 84 GLS, 12A. Thanks!

Oh!!! Here ya go...Compliments of http://pittdp.homestead.com/underhood.html .

In this pic I am pointing to the A/C Idle Compensator that you turn clock or counter clockwise to adjust your Idle while A/C is on. sometimes this will need to be adjusted to keep your Rx-7 from dying, but do not over adjust or this device will shut on and off repeatedly.

Yelp, and once you get that solenoid to activate and pull vacuum on the above picture... The little flathead screw is the adjustment for the AC idle. Just be sure not to get it too high then it will get to about 1200 and then kick off sending idle low and then back up etc etc and becomes annoying
