Lightened Flywheel ???'s
I am considering buying this flywheel for my 84 SE
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2452959903
It says that I need a counterweight as I expected but my question is
a) will a counterweight from a Racing Beat for their lightened flywheels work?
b) Will second gen auto tranny counterweights work?
Thanks
Greg

Greg,
The couter weight is match with the front counterweight, so you will need one to match your engine. So, a second gen couterweight will not work, but the one from RB will. You may also be able to buy one off the forum parts page. I believe that the casting number you are looking for is 1029. Mazdatrix has a whole page with photos on counterweights.
Good luck ~ JEB
