85 and 86 use a differnet flywheel. using an incorrect flywheel will quickly ruing your engine.

While 85 and 86 use a different flywheel stock, the aftermarket ones usually will mix. Just have to get the correct counterweight for your year of engine.

We mix and match these all the time. This means if you want to put the larger diameter clutch assembly on a pre-83 application, just let us know - it is no problem. You just need to remember what diameter you have when you next purchase clutch parts.

^ +1. Lightweight flywheel from 86 will work, just get the right counterweight for your engine.
