What the hell is THAT thing for? Whoever had my Rx before me must have had Edward Scissor hands and a propensity to use a ball-peen hammer, cause my center console is all sorts of bashed up, and that little cable off of the cig lighter is cut. MYSTERY.

 

Not sure about that. However, down at the fuse box, the fuse for the lighter also controls the relay that turns the A/C on in my 85. This may be different on earlier cars. Anyway, I thought that I'd mention it.

 

Figured it out -it routes over to the ashtray. Cute.

It's a fiber optic light source for the ashtray.

 

Where exactly does it plug into? I figured it went to the ashtray, but can't find where it plugs in.
