OMG dude, I was in my school library reading this thread and when I got to the bottom of 3rd page, what the **** do I see. PORNO. My librarian is already uptight about reading forums, and you almost got me kicked out for the rest of the year.

here are some pics of my 79 S, notice the totally bad *** rims, lack of 5th gear on the shift ****, and single side view mirror. i just have that dashmat on there to preserve the dash's youth from the hot texas sun, it isnt cracked. the s10 is all i drive now , the rx is in hibernation, and will be for a long time. original mileage on the rx is 50,917.1 .

Nanaimo, I'm just curious, what kind of muffler is that you're running? What's your exhaust setup?

BTW ... that's a really nice SA

The white 83 now belongs to my brother (I just work on it)
I also have a new to me Silver 84 GSLSE (no pictures yet) that I've just gotten running nicely.
The Rx-4 is getting a rebuilt street ported 13B motor installed next week. Right now I'm painting the empty engine compartment.
The Black GS has been upgraded with SE running gear and all SE options except PS. It also has a recently rebuilt 12A (my first).

diabolical1 :

It's a RActive muffler with a 4.5" angle cut tip ( I think). It was pretty much the first thing I ever bought for the car 4 years ago, and I'd never heard the term rice, lol. So don't even start....you know who you are. Anyways, I'm running 2 1/4" pipe straight back from a long primary SelectMaz header, with two SelectMaz SS packed presilencers...right now the system goes over the axle, but I may be soon getting a new piece to go right under the axle. All hell is going to break loose when I get my street port and Dell setup...

Should I have put 2.5" piping, I know that's the max, what am I loosing with the quater inch difference? I thought by not going to the max, I'd save a little low-end, this was a long time ago, was I wrong? Thanks in advance. George.

Yes Alex. That's me. We had a great time. All those engine parts that were laying around are being turned into running motors.
