If you are talking about the left rear sidemarker lens located on the quarter panel.
They are all the same 81-85. If youare refeering to the T/S assembly on the rear, they are also all the same 81-85. So whatever you purchased was not for a Rx7.
Or you got a right side instead of a left side. Remember the left side is the driverside and the right side is the passengerside.

You may want to also try local wrecking yards or even the dealership. The part number is:

FA01-51-5610 (LEFT SIDE, REAR MARKER LENS)

It is $15.64 from Mazdatrix, and based on my experience, the dealership is about the same price or just a bit higher than Mazdatrix on OEM parts. It would also save on paying for shipping. Around here if you put your order in on Monday at the dealership, most parts will come in on Wednesday (depends how close the warehouse is). Just something to think about. Most people write-off the dealership assuming the parts will be very expensive without even checking. But some parts like lenses and interior door pull cups can be very reasonable and won't be all broken up and faded as with the parts from most wreckers.
