Left headlight

the left head ligh on my brother's 84 gsl does not work. I looked into it and saw that the relay or whatever you call that box that controls the up and down function was missing so we replaced that. Now when you turn on the lights it goes up and back down again or it goes up when you turn off the lights and down when you turn them on. I noticed that one of the bars that move the headlight up and down was real loose. The plastic piece that holds that joint together is missing. Can I buy that new or do I have to go to a junk yard to hopefully find it?
Thanx

You can find alot of replacement parts at a local mazda dealership if you have a spare leg kickin around.
Your best bet would be to find a junked one and swipe the whole headlight motor.

For a temporary fix you can use a rubber hose washer to replace the missing plastic part that holds the arms together
