leading plugs vs trailing

obvious answer for most people, I just want to double check.... which are the trailing and which are the leading? also, which pickup on the distributor is for which one? I am really starting to think that the guy who had my car before me had them switched

Your plugs on top are trailing or t, bottom are lower or leading. Yout trailing coil is the one closest to the headlamp. Leading ignitor is closest to engine. rx7doctor

Thats the same way it was on both of the FB's i bought.

The first one had a weird idling noise, i looked and thought "Those wires look wrong" switched em on a wild hair, and viola... it idles better now!

The leading ignitor is the one facing the radiator.

so I did hook up the DLIDFIS to the right pickup... glad I was too lazy to go out and change it tonight, lol
now I just have to figure out the fuel pump and tach
the only wires that were on the trailing coil were the ones coming from the ignitor, all I did was lengthen those and relocate the trailing coil. can't figure out what happened
