Ladies and Gentlemen
Well finally after years of dreaming I did it. I've had talked about it for years on here that one day I will get it done and now I am happy to announce it is done.
To my knowledge I AM THE FIRST PERSON ON THIS FORUM WITH A 2ND GEN SUBFRAME IN MY CAR. That's right baby. I have Rack and Pinion from a 2nd gen car with suspension and 5 bolt pattern and 4piston calipers.
I will take lots of pictures in the morning and put it on here as I know lot of you guys have been waiting for this. If I am not too lazy, I might even put together a How-to.

Bitching. Is the front any higher? Or is the engine still out? Nice work Omid, that's a sweet project can't wait to see it at one of the meets this summer.

Well my car has coil overs plus it's not on the ground yet. But by my calculations if you use the 2nd gen suspension, it will be around 3/4" higher. So lowering is or having coilovers is good.

He's not on this forum, and I know you don't have to believe me lol, but the local rotary guru here in Winnipeg has had an 84 GSL-SE with TII suspension, brakes, rack and pinion, and supercharged 4port TII motor for over a year 
He's very knowledgable, and even he said it was a bitch and a half to do, but it's done. Didn't mean to steal your kodak moment dude! He's not on the forum though, so yes, you probably are the first guy with 2nd gen subframe on here

look awsome, but now you have to change to a 86 and up oil pan and engine mount. and what about the rear end, you going to change it or you going to stay with the live axle?

Very cool. I like the shiny red/silver components. Will the rest of the car be painted the same way? I'm also interested about whether or not you'll be replacing the live rear for the IRS of the 2nd gen. Keep up the good work!

Same car. The sig is been painted in photoshop. I didn't want to paint the car before doing all these stuff. Don't want to scratch it.
There will be an IRS eventually. Probably next winter. I just have to get the car ready for the race season. No time to do the IRS and I won't be using 2nd gen's anyways as it's not the best one around.

I can hardly wait to see how the suspension goes in and fits. I am wondering what bump steer problems might come up when you road test the car. Finally racknpinion in a first gen...... Are you hooking up the pump or are you going to plug the inlets and run it as manual steering?

I can't believe how perfect this fits. I was playing around with the steering today and it works perfect. Gotta love the lower ratio. Lock to lock is like 3turns .
I am thinking I might start working on a kit and instruction. So basically you would get a steering column with the shaft inside, and then instructions on how to do the swap. You will need to provide the subframe and suspension and rack&pinion yourself. But there are so many of them around that are almost free to get.
One thing I forgot to mention, I don't take any responsibility if you use any information from here and end up causing harm to the car/yourself/anything or anybody on the road.
Also I don't take any responsibility if you crash the car b/c the steering turned too fast and precise
