Konig Rewinds from Good-Win-Racing

Anyone purchase the Konig Rewinds from Good-Win-Racing? I checked out their site and I'm thinking about buying the 15X7 Graphite version for my '84 GS. Any reason why they only have them listed for '79 - '83?

I got my rewinds from there. Only issue was I ordered a spare wheel and it was a little delayed in shipping due to the limited availibilty at the time, but not a big deal. Brian was good to work with.

I put 205/50/15 Falken Azenis on mine. I would not suggest anything bigger, maybe a little bit smaller even, as the clearance between the tire and the spring perch isn't much. I got a good deal on them from discounttiredirect.com. Like $260 shipped.

I have Toyo Proxes(4's) and they are great tires. Great tread life while having great traction. You will be amazed at how much better your car will handle with just the wheels and tires. Definitely a great buy if you can get them. I bought mine from a NW tire chain (LES SCHWAB) for $875 installed(tires and wheels).

the only reason they dont list the 84-85 is that the GSL-SE has the 4x114.3 bolt pattern and they dont want someone ordering them and saying that they dont fit. but if you own one of these cars you know how big your bolt pattern is. im thinking about picking up a set after winter hits

I got my rewinds from Hikaru, and really like them so far. However, the link you posted states that the wheels are 14.6 pounds. When I got my wheels I weighed one of them on the bathroom scale just for kicks, and it was 15.5 pounds without the center cap (which is plastic). It is no big deal and bathroom scales are probably not super accurate, but I thought I would share that information. Be sure to get good performance tires, I bought all weather tires because I got a deal from a friend, and they are pretty laughable as far as performance in any weather.

I got mine through Hikaru too. After Onlyonthurs posted pictures of his formula white RX with them on, I was definitely sold.

Does anyone have the Team Dynamics Pro Race One wheels also from Good-Win Racing?
I'm interested in them because they are considerably lighter.

And the company itself is nice, ordered a set of brite lights (IIRC) and came to the door within a week.

Thanks, it was well worth the money for sure in terms of looks and performance. I just gotta get it to sit a little lower and it will be perfect. The 15x7's fit perfect and give a much more aggressive stance....maybe not as much as your widebody
