I am looking at the BF goodrich traction TA's in this 55 wall height size . Anyone know if they will fit with a 205 width . I am getting Respeeds front coil over kit to make more room on the 79 front strut

 

will they fit on the car or the wheel?

205 isnt a stretch at all to fit on the car.

 

I'm after fitment on the car (SA).

stock 13"x5 rim with yoko avid touring 185/70 specs are: width 7.2" , dia 23.3"
15"x7" (20mm offset) rim with BFG traction TA 205/55 specs: width 8.4" , dia 23.9"

 

The recommended tire for 15x7 rim are 205/50/15

 

buy 50 profile, it will keep the speedo correct. but yes they should fit otherwise

 

I know the 205/50's are on lots of cars , I searched. . thanks, but the problem remains . i'm interested in the 205/55 for a different reason. I am trying to find raised letter tires and there are not many options . the BFG traction TA's are raised in 205/55 and 195/55, 195/55 is a little narrow for a 7" rim I think.

 

thanks , but don't really care about the speedo being out by 1.6 mph. These BFG 55's just seem a little wide with the 8.4" width spec they report for it.
