LA Konig Rewind Tire Sizes

This thread is for the 15x7 110mm Konig Rewind wheels.

OK - I have spent quite a bit of time searching through the forum the past few days, and I don't see what I'm looking for. Hopefully you guys can give me some assistance.

I know that the recommended tire size is 205/50. I have some 205/50's currently, but I have noticed that there isn't a whole lot of good tires (in my opinion) available in that size - there is the Yokohama S.Drive, but it seems to be on a factory backorder everywhere that has a decent price.

There are, however, quite a few tires in the 205/60 size that I would like to get. Has anyone
tried 205/60's? I'm shooting for some Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Positions, or the Potenza G019.

Thanks in advance for everyones input.

check out this site.... I've used it before in the past to get an idea of how things will fit.

A 205/55-15 may fit without the tire tread hitting on the underside of the front spring perch, but I seriously doubt a 205/60-15 would. Might be a different story if you have coilovers.....
The 205/50-15 is actually a quite popular size, and many tire options are around in this size. Same goes for a 195/55-15, which is practically the same circumfrence.

I've got 205/50-15 RT-615's on both my rewinds and ronal 15 x 7 wheels. It's been 3-4 years since I swapped to the coilovers, but best I recall, there wasn't a lot of room between the top of the tire and bottom of the front spring perch with either set of wheels (different offset) and 205/50's.....

I have 195/55 BFG Traction TA's on the konigs . They are as wide or wider as some 205's . You can check width specs on Tire Rack website. Not all tires have same width for a reported size

I am very happy with the choice I made

On my street car I have 225/50-15 falken ziex 512 tires on my 15x7 wheels. Mine are Weds mesh's though. Not sure if we have the same offset. Mine are +4.

Now that Im lower I had to pull the fenders out slightly to make them not rub. I'm getting Hankook RS3's since they are 225/45-15 and I think that sidewall difference will help the car not squirm so darn much.
