Just totalled my Rx7

So I was working on my Rx7 with Alex, that I met on the Rx7 Forum. And we were over at my house getting ready to pull the engine from one of my cars. And he wanted to try out the 2gcdfis on my running car. So after it was all wired up we decided to go for a test drive.

I left my street and drove down another street, turned around and was driving back. Going about 40-45 on a 2 lane street. A guy in the other lane was stopped with his blinker on waiting to turn into his driveway. He was stopped so I assumed he was waiting for me to pass, there wasn't anyone behind me.

Right before Im infront of him, he decides he has enough room to make it and he goes. Instantly I know it was over, the second he pulled out into my lane I hit the brakes, and locked up, tried to turn the left and my front right hit the rear right of his car, and it spun me around until I did almost a 360 and was stuck with my car in the middle of the road.

Front end smashed to ****, radiator leaking fluid everywhere, and hellof broken pieces of my car layed in the road while I waited 1.5 hours for the cops to come.

It was horrible, but at least I got to use the 2gcdfis for 2 minutes.

Rx7 vs. Toyota Sequoia

Surprise, Surprise, the 7 lost. I was in the car with Drawf when it happended and that **** sucked. The Old Guy driving the truck had to be past 70 years old. There was no way he shouls have turned infront of use. Maybe his classes where too thick and he didnt have his hearing aid turned up enough to hear us comming.

I personally dont think he should be driving on any public roads. But atleast no one was injured. O well I guess its time to do an engine swap. Its always good to have a back-up 7.

car wrecks, divorces, job losses, deaths in the family....are tramatic life experiences, any combination of which will in 6 months will cause a heart attack.

The old fart will probably have one in less than 6 months.

Good thing you were wearing your seat belt. You will probably begin to notice back problems in a few years.
