I'll get another one, just not a garage queen. My friend Donny races 1st gen's and I'm helping him 'in the pits' this year. Hopefully I'll get some track time in as well. I'm leaning on getting into some racing, and I simply can't afford to have a garage queen and build a car someday. Plus- I have been naked without a truck, so I picked up a nice used one last week (and since my in-laws basically gave us that Grand Cherokee, I can't justify getting another (4th) vehicle and owning an older truck).

I'm certainly not cutting this car into a race car, either. It should go to a good home. Besides- Donny has 10-12 1s gen's in a boneyard, so I can piece together one to race at pretty bare bones cost.

And I've only driven the thing like 12 times since Rotorfest last year. Know why? Cause the f**cking gravel roads get it dusty!

I have no business owning a garage queen back here!

Meet the new workhorse of the family- a 1990 Military Issue Chevy 2500 4x4 diesel! No air, no radio, all *** all the time!

Want me to carry your FB?

Damn, that is a CLEAN FB! I love it. If I had the money, I'd be all over that thing.

That's also a VERY nice chevy.

That is one nice FB.

The gauge needles are even still orange.

Good luck on selling it.

Yeah- there's a local hot lot with high traffic counts nearby. I plan on keeping this on the forum for a week or two before I put it up there. It's as good as gone when I do that. Another guy sold a nice brown (stock) FB for about 4K a few weeks ago. There is a large high school down the road, so someone will drool on it.

Chevy has 38,000 documented original miles on a 6.2L diesel. 3 speed auto and either 4.10 or 4.56 rear gears.

Not a whole lot of top end, but my God does it have some stomping power!
I drove it 120 miles to home and on the freeway 65mph is all it's got! Let off the gas sharply and you damn near go flying through the windshield! (I'm gonna have to change that).

lol I would imagine the 3 speed and 4.10 or 4.56 gears would be nice for cruising around, but would be a bitch on highways.

Good luck selling the 7, I hope you sell it to someone who will take care of it and not molest it!

Very nice, Tom. Way out of my price range, and too far away, though.
