Airflow is my life
Well maybe you have a later dizzy on it? Pretty common swap for the points style as they arent as good. Does your dizzy have igniters mounted on it? 80 dizzys had the module mounted on the fender.

If the ignitors are mounted on the outside of the distributor, it is an '81 or newer. The '80 distributors had the ignitors mounted on the fenderwell in a box. Cross-triggering and spurious pulses have been noted with this setup, because of the long wire run from the distributor to the remote mounted box.
My '80 has a 130 mph speedo (from a '79 LE, that is.)

Nope, no computer. Thank God...
All you need is for the coils and ignitors to get 12V when the key switch is in the "ON" position, then connect the coil triggering leads from the ignitors to their respective coils. That's about it.
