Just a little question about the starter ...

On the starter, there are two bolts .. I was just wondering if 1) both were the same 2) if the top bolt actually can't be unscrewed and it's sortof like a pin holding it in place. I'm tyrying to get mine out and I got stuck on this ... thanks alot !

If I remember correctly, the bolts are different lengths, and but I do know both are screwed in.

crap :// That must meen that .. the upper bolt cracked ? if so the starter still *should* come out right ? I meen .. I tried hitting it with a hammer and all ... Still nothing :S plus the crappy snow/rain here is pissing me off lol :P

So can anybody else here offer some sort of advice as to removing the starter ? lol like little tips .. it is supposed to be hard to budge out, etc etc ??

the top bolt goes in from the front of the motor, then threads into the starter... the bottom goes into the starter and threads into the block.....


attack the top one from the top...

NICE ! I LOVE YOU ! that is the exact thing I was wondering !!! That's why I love this board ! Within 30-40 minutes, I got my answer !!! I will soon be posting a thing bout unflooding rotaries... in easy to understand and easy to do steps ! Thanks alot guys ! (YAAAYY the FB might *start* today ! )
