Wow.......nice......real nice. Welcome to he rest of your life. I love it when some one finds a treasure like this. In doing the exhaust, you will breath new life into that 12A. Keep it easy on the old girl for while, till you get her broken in properly, then watch the smile meter go from ear to ear .

As the title of the thread plainly states, it's an 82, so it already has the front mount oil cooler.

A couple of people emailed asking about the car,

Here are some answers:
I also received:
- all the original owner manuals and dealer envelope they came in.
- all service records from dealer
- a never used- jack, handle, tool kit and spare !!!
- bag for sunroof

One question though?

What model is this car? There are no markings on it?
1982, rear drum brakes, crank windows, power mirrors, 12a motor.
GS?

Thanks
John

My bad, I forgot it was an 82, I was thinking 83. I originally thought an S model but with power mirrors and sunroof I'd say it's a GS

Ditto on the GS. Power mirrors and a sunroof are usually only found on the GS and GSL. Drum brakes rules out GSL. Only the GSL recieved any badging designating the trim.

Sunroof bag, did it also have the glass insert? Those are sweet, got one for both my 83 GS and 83 GSL.

^^Actually, I think on a few S3's they got GS badging as well. I rarely see it but some do

Yeah, the 84-85 GS had badges on the rear, but it wasn't really relevent to this car. 81-83 GSL had a badge on the roof pillar, the rest were just left plain, other than the 83 LE which also had the badge in the same location on the pillar
