ok i just got new exhaust a brand new oem cat and 2 1/2 piping from the cat back to a apexi muffler and the car isnt loud what so ever its so weird is there a reason why its like that

 

It's not loud because you have a stock manifold and a cat.

 

umm...first things first...are you running a presilencer? im guessing no. im pretty sure its cuz of the catalytic converter...the oem ones are so insanely restrictive its gross. if you dont need to pass emissions in oregon where you are located, i suggest either removing or gutting your cat.

 

go to racing beat and hook yourself up with a nice rb header and lose the cats then you will know what loud is.

 

ohh ok yeah i need the cat so i can pass emissions but after that say bye bye lol

 

Well, save your cat for future testing? And have it off in the meantime with something in its place! Everybody wins!
