Could someone explain to me what the computer looking wire under the back bins/seats, and in the hole behind the e-brake in the center consel is for? it almost looks like a printer cable, its white/brownish and its got round end plug things. this is in my 1985 Rx7 GS

like for the SE they had the joystick fader in the console... I think they just used the same harness for it all....

 

I thought it was an amp, a very small amp, but i dont kno

 

in the bins you have a set of factory amps. and the wires that are by the e-brake, the black and white ones, they are like 79+80+84_rx-7 said, for the joystick fader.

 

This radio/amp/joystick combo was also available for the GSL models.
