jet sizing

I have a carter AFB carb on my rx7 with MSD ingnition other then that she is pretty stock. its a 625cfm carb I am going with .077 secondary jets as thats the smallest I can get and I need to know what size primary jets to use. I need to know fast to cause I am having problems with the jets any help would be great and where can I get these at

one thing that might be of help to you with running a carter is removing the springs from the metering rod plungers.......right now I'm running one on my bridge ported 12a and it helped alot to keep the engine from going too rich. also by doing this you can tune your mixture somewhat with the rods. and right now I can't remember the jet sizes I'm using and somewhere I have a really good tuning guide on the carter/performer carb. if I find it I'll try to post it for you.

Holy **** how do you make a 625 cfm carb work on an almost stock 1st gen?

it works but not too great the primaries are too large to get good throttle response but the secondaries use an airvalve that limits secondary airflow (kinda like a holley vac secondary carb but better design). plus another thing is the metering rods they only have some very large steps on them so finding one that works good is impossible. Also the metering rod plunger springs all of them are too stiff to work with the vacum pulses and clatter like hell at idle.
BUT I figured I'd try it to see how it does.....you never know.
