Try putting some rubber grommets or old rubber bushings in between the pump and body of the car where the pump is bolted to.

Softer is better. You might look for a new set of sway bar links with soft rubber bushings, or cut up a thick mouse pad.

If it is back at the tank move it into the engine bay. It is a rotary vane pump which means that it can either push or pull.

Are you sure Doc? I thought the closer to the tank the better for the Holleys. Even my Mallory Comp 140 gerotor says closer is better.

All rotary vane pumps will work either way. Back at the tank they will probably last longer because they do not have to work as hard. As long as you keep them away from high heat in the engine bay they will work.

everone knows that electric pumps r better at pushing fuel than pulling. holley pumps r loud, period. the pump i'm using is one that RB sells for the holley setup, very quiet.

We all know that. I am giving him a option without replacing his pump or trying to insulate it against the frame of the vehicle by putting it in the engine bay area.

Make sure that the pump is mounted to the frame, rather than sheet metal. You can get some great bass reverb off of those pumps if mounted to sheet metal. Also use some type of rubber isolation method as already suggested.
