Irons

I'm restoring an early RX7 12a but I can feel a small ridge on one side of the center plate where the side seals ride. How much is considered "acceptable".

Has anyone had irons resurfaced? If so, did you re-gas nitride the surfaces?

Learning a lot. Need to learn lots more.

I've had a lot of them done. Never had them re nitrided, never expected the engine to last more than a couple hundred hours before I took it apart again.
