interior restoration
Sorry is this has been posted elsewhere, but I can't seem to locate the information I'm looking for.
I have a 1985 RX-7 GS. I'm missing some of the panels for the hatch area and my door panels (i.e. the door pull and pocket) need some T.L.C. I was wondering if anyone knows of any place that sells these items, or if anyone knows of anyone who has been able to fabricate replacements for these. Any and all help is appreciated.
Chris

You can find some parts at www.MazdaTrix.com and from the www.VictoriaBritish.com catelog (they don't have very much online yet).
Carpet can be found at Victoria British which some have posted isn't as good as the carpet available on e-bay from a company called A1.
Unfortunetly the only places that I have been able to find door panels and plastic parts that the before mentioned don't have is at the junkyard.
I have repainted my plastic panels with the Krylon for plastic. Burgandy is very hard to replicate straight out of the can it looks like a mix between fire engine red and an off purple. So I changed to black. There have been posts on recovering the door panels and you could do a search for those threads if you are interested in that.
