I did a couple searches and didn't find anything to help. I have 83 GSL and the fan won't blow. I have checked all the fuses and they are good. Is there like a squirrel cage fan in/under the dash that might be stuck? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

I had this same problem, also thought my underdash fuses were good, make sure you check again . . I found one blown fuse and also discovered that the AC button has to be OUT not pushed in . . new fuse + AC button out and my fan finally worked

I found the fusebox blades electrically eroded when my 83 fan stopped. Cannibalized a JY fusebox for blades. If you have to replace squirrel cage motor it's only 3 bolts and 10 minutes work. I have a spare here if you're desperate.
