Interior colors?

On the 84/85 Model year, what kind of interior colors were there? I currently have a maroon one where most of it is in good shape, the rear section looks like ***...

Everyone knows sports cars should have black interior anyway, so I'm gonna swap it out...

Only problem is, I haven't seen a black interior on this year car... Only grey... Did black exist? I've seen earlier cars with black...

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the closest yorue going to find in the 84-85's is a gray/off-black. I checked mazdatrix, and the only thing they had was gray, red, and brown carpet sets for the 84/85's.

Sudox is Correct.

However, all the interior panels (doors, rear, etc) are interchangeable with the earlier (81-83) black interiors with minimal effort.

So if you wanted a "black" interior, it wouldn't take much.

I'd say the gray/charcoal fits the sports car look just fine. And from what I hear, the 84-85 dashes are less prone to crack.
