It can easily handle 4 people, and I don't even have a backseat LOL. I think the back seat is kinda pointless because only small kids or midgets could really fit in them

park your car beside a normal 4 seater and notice the length, either you have children or midgets for friends, the Rx is not meant to be a 4 seater.

How come when ever someone looks for back seats they get flammed? Well some of us 7 owners have kids or just like the novelty of the rear seats.

Any way I have been searching for a while and these things are a bitch to find. I actually came across an 84 SA in local wrecking yard in Oakville and did not buy the seats. Stupid me.

Here are some pics from the UK.

here you guys are begging for rear seats. i've got mine flat down all the time. absolutely useless. no-one can fit in there, not even my kids. there is just no leg room...no head room...back too upright...what am i saying ? there is just no space...a seat should never have been put there

Thumbs down Baby on Board

The reason people get flamed in my opion is because we are not talking about a spoiler, window lovers or body kits it’s a back seat in a sports car sports car.
Two seats was one of the criteria when I bought the 7 no back seat.
Make sure you put a baby on board shade in the rear window or the Gerber Baby Sticker in the window.
If’ you want to haul the kids around get a different car then you can tell them the legend while there growing up about thee really cool car Daddy use too have but sold.

Yea but he wants to put them in HIS car, not yours. So I still dont understand the flamming, although the constructive crticicsm of how useless they are is the kinda good advice our fellow members share from their own personal experiences.

How was that for a run on sentence?

Who wants to do a swap? Aus-spec rear seat in exchange for some US-spec storage bins.

Yeah ther best for kids but you can fit adults but the will not be confortable. And you have to slide your seats forward.

The sets arent pushed all the way back so I dont think that they are really to straight up to sit in, if your over 5'2'' you will have to leean your head t the side.

Thumbs down Bicycle built for two

It may be HIS car but I still felt the need to take a cheap shot at the back seat idea.
I have had more shots taken at me and never responded your rims are ugly lose those louvers hey I didn’t ask either.
I also don’t see a lot of positive responses to piston engines but hey it’s HIS car.
But I have a better idea use the strap in the hatch for the moonroof to hold the passengers in the back they could lay down and have more room or install a roof rack and put them on top.
Carl I still have to thank you for the help in the past even though you gave me the green guy flipping me off.
