Intake Manifold..Please help

Intake Manifold..Please help

Anyone can give me any pointers on how to get this hunk of metal off...I have taken off 3 Bolts...thats it and the thing still wont budge, i have tried relentlessly to get the bolts under it with no sucess, any pointers? PLEASE HELP.

There's 2 nuts and 4 bolts. 2 bolts at each end, and 2 nuts near the middle.

Get the right tools! Socket extensions with wobble end, etc. I can't stress enough on this, they have saved me literally from HOURS of frustration.

I can do it with a 12mm deep well socket and a 6" extension with a 3/8" drive ratchet with absolutely no problems.

Are you removing the top part of the exhaust manifold heatshield? That is a must.

Wobble extensions are a godsend. Much better than old-fashioned u-joints, which always bind and don't work right.
