Question Installing a circulating heater on a 12a???

I am in the midst of a -40C cold snap up here in the Great white north, and the little rotary doesn't seem to wanna start without being plugged in anymore.... I know its bad to do that. So rather than put on a factory replacement block heater I went with a circulating, gravity fed heater. Has anyone installed one on these cars, if so, which coolant lines should I use?? Going to be going at this thing tonite, so any help would much be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
