Installing aftermarket fuel pressure regulator in GSL-SE?

Hi guys,
You may have seen my thread about my fuel pump issue here: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...issue-1057948/

Before I hit the send button to order a new Walbro 190lph pump earlier today, something popped into my head. Why not use the Bosch 044 pump I have sitting on my shelf which I would use for the REW swap. Been doing some research but I cannot find any information about installing an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator on a GSL-SE. Does anyone know how hard this is and what's involved? Link to a thread with instructions would be awesome

I'm trying to decide whether the effort and cost to use an aftermarket FPR outweighs the cost of just replacing the fuel pump on my current setup (street port, RB street exhaust and headers, etc.). I don't have much time to work on the car and I need it to be ready for DGRR this year.

TIA

i've decided against installing an aftermarket FPR but it would still be nice to know if anyone has done this.
