Installed test pipe. Doesn't idle?

My idle was perfect until I installed my test pipe. Now my idle goes down to 100rpm or stalls. I put a blocking plate on the thing behind the engine where the tube goes for the cat. Is there anything else I need to do?

Id check to see that the plate isint leaking. Or that you didnt accidentally induce a vacuum leak when working on the car.
