Hi all:

Just thought I'd share my experience with my install tonite. I ordered the Mazdatrix Dual Pipe exhaust system (header, mid pipe, and muffler) for my 85 GS. The polished Racing Beat header looked almost to nice to install on the car Anyways, installed the new system and fired her up. All I can say is WOW!! the burble at idle was sweet music. On a test drive down my street, I actually chirped the tires in 3rd. the exhaust has added new power to my GS. I am thoroughly impressed.

I also did a cap, plug, and rotor swap. I found that 1 plug was not even firing!! I think this helped with the new-found power I felt tonite in my RX-7. I am one happy camper. Now to get her inspected.. Crossing fingers here...

I took mine for a test drive, and like you, spun em all the way through 1st, 2nd, and part of third . Of course, I could always chirp em in thrid, but I actually spun them for a couple seconds in third .

Wow, you must have some real shitty tires. My car can't peel through 3rd and I got a wee bit more power.

It was like having a new car. My 7 before the swap wasn't fast at all, actually a dog. I am really going to enjoy this new mod
