Inspired by Everyone Else's Problems
Not sure how many of you remember me, (or Care) But as of today I finally sorted through all the little bugs. This is my second first Gen, (First One Caught Fire Remember) really excited it's an 84 with what might be an 81 engine. Once I came to this conclusion it ended my six month search for a clutch from autozone(Finally). Need to get the idle down but I'am just going with a New Carb soon, Driving from San Bernardino to the Port of Long Beach Tomorrow, Hope all goes well. Thanks for the support and sometimes the lack there of, That helped sort it all out.

Your two clutch size choices were 215mm and 225mm. It's easy to take the disc out, measure it, and order based on the size. If 215mm, you could have ordered from '79 to '82. If 225mm, '83 to '85.
You should have asked here in the forum. It would have shortened your six month ordeal to six hours or less.
Of course if you did already ask and received no help, I don't know what to tell you other than I must not have seen the thread or you didn't explain it clearly enough.
Either way, it sounds like you found the right clutch for your flywheel, whatever year it is. Cool!

Good luck with the ride, man. Too bad you live in Cali because you have to deal with all those strict emissions laws and bullshit! We have no emissions testing (or even inspection) in KY!
