oh man, i just fell into $4000, so i may very well be able to buy this from you.

dont sell it for a little while, i'll find out from the peoples as soon as possible whether this can happen. I'm also all types of close to you, so everything could be done in person.

btw, your link was broken, email me with info and pics at jutny.guff@verizon.net

i got approval from one parent... the other will come shortly. After that the only things holding me back are actually getting my Chevelle to Vermont where the buyer is, and collecting my 4g's.

That'll give me enough money for your package, and all the suspension work i need to do.

also a Rack and Pinion Conversion kit from J Oliver.

what fuel pump do you need? regulator? What is special about the 12at dizzy, can i use a regular 12a one?

i'm gonna do this.

do you have a place where we could do the swap? How long do you think it would take to get her up and running start to finish?

EDIT: we have the same rims

u need a EFI fuel pump, the aeromotive works great.....i never installed my adjustable regulator cuz the stock unit worked fine for 8-10 psi....the 12aT dissy is very special , its the only dissy that can retard the timming base on boost via 2 vaccume lines.....the regular 12a unit would work fine but u'll have to lock it in at 0* which gives u a slugish feeling at low rpm....what u could do is install everything yourself & i can wire it up in a few hours....with this conversion u dont get 1st -3rd gear, it just spinns :0

dosent the EFI need like... 40psi?

How much power do you estimate from this setup?

would you be able to come out here to do the wiring and be here for start-up?

my car was estimated to be making over 250hp with the stock intercooler....u need a EFI cuz the carb pumps dont make the right PSI required for a efi system to work.....dude i can wire up the haltech & coils and get the car running the same day IF all the other stuff like coils, pump, fuel system, ect. is in place.....if i dont get the package sell in 2weeks i'll store it in my garage as spares cuz i might need it when the 3rotor starts acting up...

okay, i'm definately gonna do this, but i may not have the money right away.

the money funding this is from the sale of my Chevelle, i wont get that money until it's delivered to him in Vermont. Maybe my parents can front me the dough so i can pick this stuff up from you, cause i want to try to get this done before Rotorfest on the 29th of June.

we'll see, but hold it for me, i need this.

what kind of Fuel Pressure Regulator do i need, what pressures ballpark. Does it need to be a rising rate or anything like that?

i could always just run 0 advance though right?

so with the MSD 6a that comes with the package, and the MSD BTM (like summitracing sells for 182.95), i could use my stock 12a dizzy, and right now i have direct fire setup, so i have 2 blaster 2 coils and some generic napa coil on the trailing.

what does the MSD and the retard do about the leading-trailing split and retarding the trailing spark? or does it not matter?

can someone also reccomend a fuel pump, regulator, and filter setup for me that i can get through summitracing and not pay through the ***.

what i have found is such:

Pump: AEI-11101 $289.95
Regulator: AEI-13101 $135.95
Filter: AEI-12301 $79.95

Timing Retard: MSD-8762 $182.95

You could get a walboro fuel pump which are selling for $90 online. The problem you will have is the fuel tank is not going to work. Fuel slosh will allow air into the injectors and stall the car on turns. You WILL need a fuel catch tank in which case you will need 2 fuel pumps or you could see about mounting a fuel cell. There are lots of other little issues which could drive you nuts. I would rather buy the car completely converted with all the bugs woked out and pay a little more.

is a gsl-se tank that much different? the sumped tank draws from the bottom as far as i know.... the tank i'm getting is sumped (i guess thats why? )

DF, what do you say about the fuel pump/filter/timing aspect?
