The fire was started by me. I had been trying to diagnose a bad ground for a few days and just could not locate it. At the time the 7 was my daily driver so I went out to start it to go to work one morning before Christmas last year and as I was turning the key in the ignition the wiring harness burst into flames. Luckily it did not do too much damage. It burnt the harness, the box that holds the heater core, the carpet and the climate controls. Luckily I got it out before it got the dash(mint) the insturment cluster (emmaculate) windshield and fresh coat of paint that had been applied just 2 weeks prior.
