Ignition switch woes!
Could anyone with access to their ignition switch for a 1979 or 1980 take a pic of where the wires go to the ignition switch or write them down with the corrosponding igntion switch location. I have a wire under the dash that is supposed to go somewhere on the igntion switch according to the wiring diagram and I cannot find its location. Also my regulator fuse is getting hot, hot enought that I can't keep my finger on the contacts for the fuse, it has not blown a fuse yet and the car runs but im sure thats not supposed to do that. My starter wires, Black W/white and White w/ red are getting slightly warm, Is this normal, Could my slightly smaller wires to the starter off of these wires cause that much resistance? As always thanks for any help. if you need any more information just ask.

Wow, If I start a thread that says DUMBEST QUESTION I would get more responses. The wiring gods are not smiling upon me I guess. Stupid monkey *** that wired my car, if its not broke don't fix it and for god sakes remember where the damn wires go when you take them apart.

*off topic* I wasn't trying to mock you, its just funny how i've posted this twice as a serious question and a topic with Dumbest question get results. I need some help here and Both my electical manual, car manual, and the dealerships even mazda and a few body shops don't know what to do. One place actually told me to put a bigger fuse in the one thats getting hot, Im running the recommended fuse.

If a Mazda dealer, or other certified people can't figure out what's going on, then I doubt you may find someone on here to actually know. I myself have no bearing on the SA/FB electrical system, let alone the rest of the car...as you probably noted with both of my posts today.
I wish I could help you more.

All I am asking for is someone to take a look at their ignition setup, how many places there are on the starter for wires and what color of wires go where for a 79-80 rx7. Also I am explaining this over the phone to those people, I imagine it is not to easy to visualize a 1979 car wiring diagram in your head when you don't work on them very often.
